4 Arm Fat Burning Myths You Should Be Aware Of
Learning how to lose arm fat can be harder than finding the love of your life. And most women do not know how to find the love of their lives. Now you may be wondering, who’s to blame? Well, it’s the savvy marketers fault.
Do a search for the term “how to lose arm fat” and you’ll see just how many tricky marketers are ready to empty your purse. The gross amount of misinformation can make it impossible for you to know what is fact or fiction.
If you buy into this quackery, your bank account will get smaller but your arm fat will get bigger. Please do not try to hypnotize yourself.
Now there are some good sources of information out there. The key is to rapidly identify whether or not what you’re reading is outdated and/or outrageous. Here are some common myths to look out for that indicate out of date information:
1. Lifting weights will get you bulky arms. Nothing could be further from the truth! Lifting weights builds muscle and burns fat. Since fat takes up much more space than muscle, you end up with smaller and tighter arms.
2. Long duration cardio is essential. This is another common myth. You see, cortisol is long duration cardio’s best friend. Too much cortisol will burn through your muscle and increase stomach fat. So stick to weightlifting!
3. Lower fat diets are the way to go. Low fat diets are painful. They cause gigantic sugar spikes in your blood. Not to mention, they also shutdown all arm-fat-incinerating hormones.
4. It’s your gene’s fault. Please do not use the genetics scapegoat. Genetics have a mild impact on the overall “look” of your arms, but they do NOT have the final say. Nutrition and lifestyle factors (i.e., weightlifting) play the biggest role in how your arms look.
If your source of information for learning how to lose arm fat has any of the above myths, it’s time to switch sources. Don’t let the marketers empty your purse while your arms stay the same!
And don’t forget that acting on information is much more important than digesting information. The more you act, the faster you will learn what works for you.
